The Ombre Effect
From hair to clothing, and now nails, ombre has made a huge entrance into the fashion scene!
Ombre literally means “gradation” in French, so ombre is the gradation of color, from lighter to darker or vice versa. The trend first started with clothing -

To hair -

Brides have even incorporated the look into their big day -

And now nails!!

I, for one, can’t wait to try the ombre nail trend and wish I could do ombre hair, but I think it looks best on longer hair! What about you? Will you be incorporating the ombre effect into your style?
Love,
Erin

Not a fan of the ombre.
Thanks for stopping in Annette!
Me either!! Since when did roots become an “effect”?
I actually like the way it looks for some reason!
I like it on the cakes, just not the others.
Hi Erin, I love the nails in the very first photo, but I think ombre nails are better suited to the younger set as opposed to those of us who are 50-something!
Hey Valerie! Yeah…I could see that it may be a little too young looking. Although, you could totally rock the ombre effect in clothing!
