“Fashionable Friday” – A look into my shopping bag…
The Miracle Bra – I bought it in nude. My other nude bra is getting a tad dingy.
The patent platform sandal – I got this in the faded sage color, just because I don’t have a shoe that color!
The babydoll tank – These are a summer essential. I went with the seagrass color.
The checker trimmed bikini – I don’t like tan lines, so I usually go with strapless tops!
So I didn’t do too much damage today!!
What is in your shopping bag?

“Topsy-Turvy Thursday” – I love running in to new magazines!
I recently found out about CocoEco Magazine from a blog I read regularly. CocoEco Magazine is an entire magazine about eco-friendly style! One of the best parts about the magazine is that you can read it for free online! Go to www.cocoeco.com and check it out! Don’t skip over the interview with the President and CEO of the Humane Society of the United States. He’s my new favorite person!
If you know of some good magazines, please post them!

The cake was beautiful and yummy, too!!

The bride’s colors were white, black, and sugar plum. The reception site was beautiful!
Weddings are stressful, but they are worth it in the end!

“Manic Monday” – The Keys to Organizing Success
One of the main obstacles in the organzing process is STAYING organized. As a professional organizer I can organize until my hearts content but if my clients do not keep the space organized my efforts are fruitless. So, with that in mind, I always like to leave a few tips with my clients after the organizing process.
The key to staying organized is self discipline. Plain and simple. That’s why staying organized is the hardest part of the organizing process. Below are a few tips for incorporating self discipline into your everyday life.
- Go through your mail immediately upon retreiving it from your mailbox. Sort each item into it’s appropriate spot so you can take the appropriate steps later. Throw all trash into the recycle bin.
- Replace every item after each use. For instance, it takes one second to replace the bottle of lotion after you’ve used it.
- Hang up your clothing at the end of each day. Or throw them in the appropriate clothing hamper
- Having a “to file” tray is ok as long as you empty the tray on a weekly basis. Any longer and the chances of it getting emptied are slim.
- Create a “cleaning basket” that you can tote around when you are cleaning the house.
Basically, just devise easy solutions for everyday occurences and you’ll find it easy to stay organized!

“Topsy-Turvy Thursday” – Easy Recipe = Erin’s a good cook!
When I said easy, I meant so easy a two year old could do it! I have to admit that I am not much of a cook. I don’t like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen and I really hate any recipe that is long and detailed. But I have been making a conscious effort to cook at least once a week. So this past Sunday instead of ordering pizza, I made a really great and easy soup that I found in one of my magazines. Here is the recipe:
5 cups of water
2 packages of chicken flavored ramen noodles
1 bag of frozen broccoli florets
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3 slices of american cheese
Bring the 5 cups of water to a boil. Add the broccoli, cover and simmer for around three minutes. Add the ramen noodles(without the flavor packets) and bring to a boil again. Cook three minutes. Remove from heat. Add flavor packets, garlic powder, and cheese. Stir until cheese is melted and serve!
Add a salad and some french bread and enjoy! I’m going to make this one again. My husband liked it too!
Do you have any really easy, and vegetarian, recipes that you can share?

“Fashionable Friday” – Fashion Victim?

I ran across this picture while I was doing my daily blog reading. I found it on Fabsugar.com. I can’t decide if I like this dress or not. At first glance, I thought “Wow! I wonder if those zippers are for easy access?” What do you think?
